The 24th Demolition Conference which has taken place on 02 and 03 March 2018 in Berlin was a great success for the organiser, the Deutscher Abbruchverband – DA (German Demolition Association), as well as for the attendees and exhibitors.
The campaign PVC recycling has again had a successful time at the Conference in Berlin, where German and European solutions were shown at a common AGPU and VinylPlus booth with partners from the floor covering and roofing membranes’ association, Rewindo for windows, coated fabrics as well as the PVC pipes’ association KRV.
Stimulating discussion with the specialist public
With more than 900 attendees from 15 countries and 115 exhibitors new records have been reached, as Michael Groschek, former minister of building and construction, urban develop- ment and transport of North Rhine-Westphalia stated in his opening speech. Visitors showed great interest in the services offered from the individual information booths.

Demolition, sorting and logistics were and are still the great challenges. Innovation and a growing international profile of the visitors underline once more that the international significance of the Demolition Conference increases steadily. Next year, on 15 February 2019 in Berlin, the demolition conference will celebrate its 25th anniversary.
